"Virus"
  (continued from Outbreak)
  -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  Location: Starfleet Academy Science Annex
Stardate: [2.7] 0214.0930
Scene: Science Lab 2

If T'ial had been a human, her body would have been overcome with anxiety. As it was, she could feel an instinctive fear reaction that even Vulcan emotional training could not overcome. Her eyes darted over every inch of the cloud as her mind tried to calculate, with precision, how much time she and the others would have before they became infected, if they hadn't already become infected. She knew that the second any of them touched the cloud, the virus would seep into their bodies and they would become contaminated. Uneasily, she looked over at Solomon and Xon, searching both their faces for a split second. Some part of her felt at ease through all the commotion since she suspected that this was all a test being performed on the holo-deck. Having been so eager to prove her worth, T'ial had stepped into the lab without noticing much about her surroundings. She had concentrated on the virus, the instructions given to her, and nothing more.
  **Starfleet Academy,** she thought.
**Such a prestegious Academy would not have faulty equipment, nor would they be so careless as to let a cadet handle such a powerful bioterrorism weapon.** She shook her head, trying to get the doubts of the reality of the situation out of her mind. If this wasn't a hologram, it was happening, and she had a few minutes, at most, to get herself, as well as the two people standing besides her, safely out of the room.
"Can we set up a force field around us to prevent contamination?" T'ial asked Solomon, her voice cool and collected through the panic.
Solomon shook his head no. "The computer has initiated lockdown procedures," he said.
T'ial opened her mouth to speak but immediately silenced herself. Every second she spent talking meant the virus was one second closer to her. Her thought was broken by Xon's voice.
"Do you think we'd even have time to configure the system in order to create the field?"
T'ial bit her lip for a second. "I don't know," she admitted.
"... if we could contain the virus.." she said to herself, but then spoke louder. Maybe some of her ideas could be put to use.
"Is there a way to contain the virus within a field?" She asked Solomon. Suddenly, her mind began to race with ideas, with questions. She wasn't exactly familiar with the facilities, but maybe if she threw enough ideas out at the people who stood beside her, something could get done.
"Have we any biohazard suits? And if so, how many?" She asked Solomon once more. If only they had enough time to get into the biohazard suits and go from there.
"Can we contact the medical staff outside the room so that they can set up a decontamination area for us to be safely quarantined?" She noted Solomon's skeptical look. "If we are contaminated in any way, the computer would not let us leave the area," she concluded.

NRPG: Sorry I didn't make this longer. I'm still getting the hang of all of this. I'm used to roleplay where I only act for my character (which is obviously not the case here) and I didn't want to step on anyone's toes. If you have any advice/critique, please feel free to contact me. :) Also, I'm confused about the email list. Should I send it to everyone on the ACT email list or should I just reply to the person who sent me a post + my 2 moderators?
