“Dr. Cade ‘Pipsqueak’ Foster”

A big grin spread across her face and the woman laughed, “Is this a hologram, boys? How are you doing this?"
A tiny little voice came from the shrunken form and Cade said simply, "I hate you, you stupid cheerleader."
Kate's mouth dropped open - because she knew Gavi and LJ would never program a "fake" Foster to speak to her so disrespectfully. Only the "real" Cade Foster spoke to her with such contempt.
The half-Nuimon placed a hand over her mouth to suppress herself from giggling. Cade only just glared at the woman whom he found so irritating and quite inferior in terms of ability to himself….then again Foster felt every doctor was beneath him. Well after getting shrunk by Lord Ihcalam, Cade couldn’t exactly claim he was above everyone except an insect…at least physically. Kate was tempted to burst out laughing at the other doctor’s predicament but she restrained herself for the boys’ sakes.
“So what happened?” The Scot inquired, turning to Gavi and LJ.
The Onaran feeling a mix of fascination and disbelief quickly relayed the events surrounding the appearance of the mirror P’narran in the promenade with LJ adding in bits of lyrics in between. When the boy mentioned about the dark lord shrinking Cade as punishment for the doctor’s insolence, the Ops officer shook her head, grinning widely at Cade.
MacNeil chided with a smirk. “Really, Cade. Must you always be so disrespectful and obnoxious? Those are qualities that would get you in trouble…and by offending this…lord you didn’t do yourself any favours…”
“Oh shut up, cheerleader!” Foster yelled, but unfortunately it merely came out as a squeak. “When I get back to my own size, I will give that…magician…a taste of his own medicine…” But he got interrupted by a burst of laughter from MacNeil and a few nurses nearby.
Kate reminded, amidst laughter. “Oh you wouldn’t unless you want the lord to turn you into an ant and have someone accidentally stomp on you.” Her response received an intense glare from the miniature man and a lot of colourful words hurled out from Foster’s mouth. MacNeil wagged her finger at Cade and rebuked, her voice thundering in his ears, though to others it was quite gently. “No need to have a potty mouth, Cade Foster. Daisy would kill you if she heard you were cursing in front of children.”
A little Betazoid girl with chestnut curls was seated on the next biobed, watching her father getting treated for his injuries. In her arms, she held a black cat, who eyed Gavirosh’s pocket, particular at the little head popping out with interest. The animal thought gleefully of the chance to procure a snack and poor Cade Foster was unfortunately its target. Its stomach growled and the Terran feline licked its lips.
Kate sighed, turning to the boys and the shrunken man. “Unfortunately there’s not much we can do except swallow our pride and ask this lord for help.” Grace dropped by after dealing with Trella and nodded in agreement.
“Apparently both Dr. Foster’s and Lt. Palandora’s condition can only be reversed by that lord,” the Orion concluded in dismay.

TI: After Justin’s post, ‘Doppelganger Madness’
Kate questioned, her hazel eyes filled with concern, watching Grace and a few medics rushing towards something. “Grace, what’s wrong?” She followed the medical team to a biobed at the far corner of the room. A burned Thomas Varn, well the mirror version, was lying on the bed, writhing with intense pain.
Poe quickly explained as they began examining the CSciO. “Burnt victim discovered in the holosuite a few minutes ago by a group of engineers.” The CMO waved the scanner over Varn’s body and continued. “The burns were so extensive, making it difficult for anyone to properly identify him until they saw his back.” Kate gasped in horror at the sight of the stubs where the wings once existed. But no wings and that horrified the half-Nuimon.
“Do you know what kind of program he was playing?” MacNeil inquired, watching the young man with sadness.
The engineer behind her answered, his voice shaking. “We found him in a volcanic setting.” The answer puzzled the half-Nuimon making her wonder if Thomas was playing a geological simulation or was it something else. “The safeties were off-line,” he then added, gulping.
Kate sighed to herself. “This is not good. Why would he deactivate safeties?” While the Scot was musing, the doors slid open and Daisy burst into the room like a tornado snatching a car off the road. The Nuimon hybrid noticed the colour drain from the blonde’s face as she approached the medical team working on Thomas.
“So it’s Thomas?” Davidson questioned slowly yet calmly.
Grace confirmed, placing the scanner back in the tricorder. “Yes ma’am.” She directed Daisy’s gaze to the stubs on his back and the CO just blanched at the sight.
“What is his medical condition?” Daisy queried coolly, struggling to control her fury.
The Orion woman reported, sporting a poker face. “Patient sustained multiple 2nd and 3rd degree burns all over his body. We’re prepping him up for immediate surgery.”
“Will be recover?” The blonde inquired.
Grace shrugged. “Hard to say until after the surgery.” Motioning politely to both her CO and Kate, the doctor requested. “Please step aside Commanders.” Kate and Daisy complied by moving further away from the biobed but did not take their eyes off the science officer. “He will be going into surgery now,” Grace informed. “I’ll send you an update after we’re done.”
Daisy nodded with acknowledgement. “Understood Dr. Poe.” Since both Kate and Daisy were trained as doctors, they knew Thomas’ surgery was going to take a few hours. They both wished simultaneously to be in Grace’s place performing the surgery and only envied the Orion CMO.

Opening his mouth again Thomas looked at the woman with his eyes changing colors almost to a deep purple mixed with green from confusion. Smiling with a wicked grin a finger ran across his face before a familiar voice was heard.
“You will be an enjoyable pet,” Daisy said winking once.
Thomas tried to jump off from the bed but was held down by two brutish Terran security officers and they grabbed both his hands, pressing them on the biobed. Stainless steel cuffs appeared around his wrists and ankles. Thomas twisted and turned, burning with pain and gritted his teeth to prevent himself from screaming in agony. His wings were charred from the heat burning them in the holosuite. The young man felt a mix of confusion and anger. **What is going on here? Why did that crazy Bajoran attack me like that? ** Questions were pouring at rapid speed into his mind.
Glancing at mirrors Kate and Daisy, Thomas inquired, rasping. “Is this some kind of sick joke, Commanders?” His questioned received a slap across the face.
“Commander?” Daisy snapped. “No, I’m Captain Daisy Byrne and the person in charge here.” Cackling, the blonde touched his cheek and cooed. “Oh I nearly forgot how pretty you’ve been before…the incident… accident…whatever.” She was offended when the young man slightly withdrew his face away from her fingers. Turning to the physician, Daisy ordered sweetly. “Do your worst, doctor but make sure you don’t break that beautiful face.”
Thomas protested, lifting his knees and then throwing them back down. “Look, I don’t know what’s going on here. But this is not funny.” The two women sniggered in amusement watching their latest subject squirm and hoped he would next beg for mercy. But to their disappointment, begging wasn’t on the CSciO’s mind. He wondered if he was unconscious and having a nightmare. But everything seemed too real for him. Thomas could never imagine Davidson and MacNeil to torture him like that.
“He sounds like him and movements resemble our Mr. Varn,” Kate mused, waving her hand over a set of really nasty looking instruments.
Daisy chuckled, moving away from the biobed. “But this one’s prettier. Who knows maybe I can use him as my new plaything.” She winked once more at the stunned man who sported a look on disgust in his eyes. A whirring sound was heard, indicating the doors to the sickbay opened, allowing two women, a Trill and an Andorian entry. Eishnala stopped just a few inches from the doorway and her face paled at the sight of Varn held in captivity.
Thomas attempted to sit back up and called, hoping the new arrivals would end the madness. “Commander Kor, Captain Spankryz, stop this craziness…” He received another blow to his face from Byrne.
“I’m the Captain here,” Daisy growled angrily.
Anaqueen glared at Varn, feeling insulted at the name of that dreaded aristocrat uttered. She didn’t care for the young science officer’s predicament but a nagging curiosity tugged at the back of her mind. Captain Spankryz. In that mirror universe, Spankryz’s official title was Lord, not the rank of a military officer and Lord Spankryz took up a young and handsome male host. She wondered with burning rage if her alternate self was indeed joined.
Byrne turned to the visitors and questioned, seething with anger. “Yes, what are you two doing down here?”
“I have something important to report,” Ana informed tersely. She could have just communicated with the Captain from the bridge but Daisy had always insisted Anaqueen come to her in person with any news. Apparently it amused Byrne to have her running around, which greatly annoyed the Trill woman, known to love her independence so much. Yet she had to depend heavily on Daisy, in order to remain hidden from the Trill military forces still on the hunt for her.
Daisy decided sternly. “We’ll discuss the matter in the bridge.” Turning to the Andorian, she questioned icily. “And you?”
“I came to see what you’ve done with science officer Varn,” Eishnala replied coldly.
Byrne, instead of giving an answer, roared. “Stop worrying about your precious lover and get back to work!”
“Yes Captain,” Kor reluctantly complied and left the room, but not without taking one more glance at the winged man. Thomas studied the look in the Andorian’s eyes and wondered why she was staring at him like that. Ana and Daisy left, leaving Varn in the hands of the cold-hearted half-Nuimon physician.
Kate warned, her voice low and cryptic. “This game will be painless if you just behave.” She picked up a thin, shiny black metallic instrument from the tray and dangled it over Thomas’s face with a menacing grin.
Varn stiffened as he inquired curtly. “What are you going to do?”
