The news of the attack by the dark lord had spread through out the station quickly as if it were wild fire. It was disheartening that with all that has happened recently many of the stations personnel were still clamoring for juicy gossip. Thomas stepped into the sickbay and watched as the medical staff quickly flew past and around one another taking care of their newest patients. Until now Thomas had remained away from sickbay for one reason and one alone, his doppelganger was there healing from what had happened to him.
Stepping around a few ensigns Thomas stopped nest to a small out of the way wall and watched as Cade loomed over Daisy prepared to pounce on anyone that dared to disturb her. Sighing softly Thomas quickly changed his mind as the usual feelings of loathing and displacement that he would acquire in a medical wing began to show. Turning quickly Thomas walked towards a door, his mind disorienting him, causing him to believe the door he was about to walk into was one that would lead him to the corridor. Stepping quickly through the door Thomas stopped realizing that the sounds that were now surrounding him were not those of a corridor on the station.
Slowly lifting his head Thomas saw the few patients that had been placed in this critical care area and one in particular caused his eyes to close as he shuttered. Standing there for a few moments Thomas took a deep breath before turning meeting face to face with a nurse.
“Can I help you sir,” the young Lieutenant asked smiling seeing Thomas expression of discomfort here.
“No, thank you Lieutenant I was just leaving,” Thomas stated quickly bypassing her and moving back into the main sickbay.
Without looking anyone in the eye or making any gesture to anyone Thomas moved quickly past officer and towards the exit. Cade and Daisy only watched as Thomas quickly scurried into the corridor and out of sight.
Thomas could feel his heart pounding rapidly and he would swear that it was about to burst from his chest. Leaning against a wall Thomas’ eyes closed slowly as he tried to control himself before he was disturbed quickly by a familiar yet disheartening voice.
Quickly running down the hallway with an elderly Cade at her coat tails Sylvia shouted out, “Thomas!”
Without responding Thomas quickly moved from the wall and began briskly walking to the nearby turbolift. He could hear the woman’s footsteps behind him increase as his pace quickened and her voice was growing louder and louder. Turning he saw the pain and fear in her eyes as she ran as quickly as possible to catch him.
“Main Science Labs,” was all that he said watching as the doors closed causing the woman to stop in her tracks.

Scene: Chief of Science’s Office
Time Index: Twenty Minutes Later

Thomas walked into the office stopping just inside the door before looking around. As the doors slowly closed behind him he tapped the padd that is in his right hand before throwing at the adjacent wall as hard as he can. Suddenly as the padd spun across the room time seemed to stop and it was in this second that all the pain and anger that Thomas had buried so far down came welling up. He could feel the color in his eyes changing as the blood rushed to his head. Not moving Thomas could feel his muscles physically jerking as they reacted to the sudden chemical change in his body.
The moment seemed to last an eternity, but was quickly dashed away as the padd made contact with the adjacent wall sparking as it cracks. Blinking rapidly Thomas slowly began to walk breathing deeply before reaching down picking the padd and its pieces up. Laying them on his desk he slowly sat down and turned facing the monitor behind him. Closing his eyes Thomas began breathing slowly trying to control his heartbeat, but it did not last very long. As the door chimed softly Thomas remained facing the wall before calling out.
“Come in,” he said his voice physically tired and weary from the emotional build up he had just had experienced.
“This is a very nice office,” the sound of the door opening was not something unfamiliar it was just the sound of Cade’s voice was what he wasn’t expecting, “you have done really well for yourself.”
Sighing once Thomas turned prepared to throw the cantankerous physician out the door but stopped when he heard the gentility in his voice, “She doesn’t know, but I knew the moment I looked at you.”
Sitting up Thomas’ eyes narrowed, “You’re not our Foster are you?”
The elderly man shook his head and walked over before taking a seat and looking around once again, “you are much like my Thomas, but there is pain in your eyes he has never known. I don’t expect you to like me or even talk to me young man, but I have come to you asking that you tread carefully with Sylvia.”
Thomas slowly let his body rest against the back of the chair he was sitting in before closing his eyes, “I take it you’ve seen your Thomas then, and you haven’t explained the situation to her.”
Shaking his head the alternate Cade looked at Thomas with understanding and pleading in his eyes, “She can not find out now, I don’t think her heart could take anymore pain, but she does love him and she deserves to have him the way he was before that she devil took him and tried to kill me.”
Thomas furrowed his brow slightly at the man’s comment before staring at him, “just what are you suggesting.”
Cade shifted in his seat beginning to feel uncomfortable about the idea of putting this young man through this, but he knew that with Thomas’ help he could do it. Taking a deep breath he sighed before beginning, “I wish to use you an clone skin, organs, or whatever it is that Thomas needs to make him what he was before she disfigured him.”
Thomas stood up and held his hand out, “get out of my office.”
Cade’s face turned expressionless and showed hints of angers in it as he stood, “I came to you like a father requesting a second chance for his son, but I see your nothing like my Thomas.”
Narrowing his eyes as they turned quickly red Thomas stepped around the desk and walked up standing face to face with the man, “get out before you regret what I am about to do.”
All the blood in the man’s face rushed away leaving him white as a ghost as he sheepishly stepped back and left the room, “I had hopped you would understand.”
“Answer me this question, have you even asked your Thomas what he wants? Are you sure you know who he is and that he still is in love with Sylvia,” Thomas replied as the elderly man stopped outside his door and turned to say something, “just get out.”
