=======================================

Marine Captain Marcus Tollerts was in a pickle. Even from the deep recesses of his own mind he was fully aware of what had been going on. He felt deep shock and sadness over the killing of his own Exec, as well as the 2 other Marines and the reporter. There was nothing he could do to prevent the actions from being taken. He wasn’t mentally strong enough to fight the alien influence.

Months ago, Field Colonel Williams had told him that the mind was a extremely powerful weapon. Even humans could perform fantastic feats when pushed. All through history there was records of human beings, every day normal folks, performing these feats. Healing themselves with thought and belief, Making themselves sick out of sympathy for another, even causing their own death at the loss of a loved one. It was this last option that he was interested in. With the decision made, hoping the Colonel would understand, Captain Tollerts turned his energies inward.

"It's been established that the Durali require a biological body to inhabit. Also, that our own cloning abilities are too lacking for this purpose."

Hunter looked up from the table. "The Dominion possess vastly superior cloning abilities than our own."

"you cant be serious!? Just ask the Dominion for help?"

"Hell no. Don’t be a simpleton. The 6th Regiment has been aware of the location of a small Dominion Cloning Facility. With the resources I have I don’t foresee a problem in seizing this facility and using it to our own ends. That is of course if the the Durali don’t mind having the appearance of a Vorta."

Thoralas smiled slightly. "It has ben millions of years, I don’t think we remember what our original bodies physically remembered. Do you have data on these Vorta, as we would need to know if they are compatible"

Daisy frowned some "Assist Thralas in obtaining the information. Colonel Williams, I expect you will need to clear this idea with your CO, have her contact me if the plan is approved.

[[Brig to Colonel Williams]]

"Williams, go."

[[Sir. The prisoner we had in the brig. He's dead.]]

"I'll be down in 10. Please inform Major Towers."

"What do you mean he is dead!?" Major Towers demanded of the security officer on duty.

"He was fine, smiling happily on the one side of the cell, then all of a sudden he fell over and died."

"Ensign Stone, can you tell me how he died?"

The ensign looked confused for quite some time. "I can tell you the cause of death, but I cant tell you why. A cerebral hemorrhage in his frontal lobe is the cause of death. But I cant find any reason that would happen. He was in perfect medical health."

"After you make sure the alien died with him, and perform the autopsy, please have the body moved to the morgue until we can arrange for proper burial."

"Aye Major. Will do"

Hunter walked in and looked at his XO who was shaking his head in confusion. "Report."

"Captain Tollerts died 12 minutes ago from a cerebral hemorrhage. They don’t know why it happened though."

"I do. He couldn’t fight the alien, so he caused it himself."

"Self inflicted stroke? Is that even possible?"

"You'd be amazed what powers even you terrans have within the mind. Full honors funeral, please organize it, I will write to his family."

Cursed with an abnormally vast perception of this cruel reality, trudging through levels of intense emotion no small minded creature could withstand! So it is no surprise that, most of all, there is pain in superiority. I suffer because I am better.
