('binary' encoding is not supported, stored as-is) "Disclosure" Con't from Rahul's last post Location: USS PATRIOT Scene: ILO Office Cal strode into Catherine's office without the curtosy of knocking on her door, or ringing the chime. She just entered like a whirling dervish. "What *are* you doing?" She asked as she glared at Catherine, her voice dripping with disdain. "Your traipsing around in the Operations database raised so many red flags. you left footprints a mile wide in the system." Tellah folded her arms across her chest and awaited an explaination. "I need access to those images in order to accomplish a task assigned to me, Lieutenant. And I wasn't hiding the fact that I was rooting around in there either." Sterling replied calmly. Cal rolled her eyes as she flipped her blood red hair back over her shoulder. "You could have just asked me." The Anarian pointed out as she walked around Sterling's desk and gestured for her to vacate the console. "I didn't want to trouble you over something so mundane." Jade slipped out from behind the desk and allowed Tellah free reign. It wasn't as if she had much of a choice. "What did you need?" Cal asked as she bypassed security and called up the Operations files that gave her control of most of the ship from her fingertips. It was a position of high responsibility, something that Tellah took a little too zealously. "Video stream for the last 24 hours prior to the explosion. And I need to send it to Captain Clarkson." Catherine requested as she was jammed into the back corner behind the chair. There really wasn't a lot of room in her little office. "He could have just asked me." Cal muttered under her breath as she waded through the computer's database to call up the files that they needed. She worked quickly and surely. Although Tellah wasn't very popular or well liked; no one could say that she didn't know her work. Cal worked hard and took fierce pride in all that she did. And so, tended to be a little possessive of everything in her domain. "I don't think he wanted to disturb you, either." Catherine responded. "I don't bite." "So noted." The intelligence agent replied. She didn't feel like she deserved the sharp edge of Tellah's tongue, but Catherine bit back her frustration and just accepted it. Tellah shook her head as she entered a whole stream of commands into the computer. "That's the vid stream over that city for the last twenty four hours. I've sent it to him. Now is there anything else?" She glanced cooly over her shoulder towards Sterling, who was crammed into the corner. "If you could just leave the video stream file here, I'll like to browse it too if it can help them." Jade asked hoping that Daniel didn't need her to talk to Tellah again today. Catherine didn't think her temper was infinite. "Done." Tellah rose onto her feet and came back around the desk. Before departing, she turned and gave Sterling one last piece of advice. "If you need anything from Operations, you call me." Cal told her in a cool tone. "Understood." Catherine nodded As Tellah stalked out, their alien visitor walked in. He had a sense to stand aside from Tellah as she left the room. Once that thundercloud had left, he walked in. There was still a vibe of tension that filled the room and he could see Jade taking a couple of deep breaths to rein herself in. "I have a feeling I've missed something." He commented, giving her a faint sympathetic smile. ~~~~~~~~ NRPG: crapola, I know Naomi Lara Lt. Catherine Sterling Jade ILO and Lt. Tellah Cal Chief Ops From HyperNews_at_youth.net
