Location: ESPERION
Scene: Belial City

"You'd think that a metropolis ruled by anarchy would be a little more
dramatic than this. It's missing all the garbage can fires and street
fights that make the place so damned.. depressing." Kel let his words
crash to the ground as his tongue-in-cheek joke left a bitter taste in
his mouth after turning the street corner and coming across a man hung
from the light standard.

The two Starfleet officers managed to make their way back into the
anarchy ridden city easily enough with the combination of Daniels
Marine Training and Kels natural gift for deflection, the pair made
their way into the likeliest place which the assassin would have
acquired the nessescary materials for the BMD that he unleashed upon
an unsuspecting congregation.

Daniel opened a direct line to his wife with a non-standard tapping
that Kel couldn't help but be amused by. It was the little details
like that one that made Kel cackle with insidious delight everytime he
infered to Daniel that the two should visit a few of the quadrants
more exotic gentleman's clubs.

"Cat," He began, "Are you sure this is the most likely place? There's
not much left here..." Indeed, the building the recieved some light
structural damage from nearby falling buildings and a few window
frames had started to crack, the glass panes slowly shifting towards
their inevitable fall and shatter at the hands of gravity.

[[This is the nearest place to get compressed phosphorus in comparison
to the temple. The next closest place is another 15.7 km away, much
too far to walk with highly combustable material.]]

"She's right," Kel nodded in agreement, "but this character could have
had it delivered or otherwise privately transported. If they knew that
the public transportation authority would have shut down the subway
grid once the scanners picked up on the phosphorus then we need to
assume that they know enough to acquire the stuff from an outside
source."

"Well we won't know until we investigate, Thanks Cat." Daniel ended
the communication.

"Ladies first then, eh?" Kel half-asked, reluctant to charge into the
damaged building.

"Watch yourself Navy." Daniel muttered, shaking his head with the
smallest sign of a grin.

"I plan on it, which is also why I'm getting you to enter the
structually damaged building first. I guess you can say that I like to
keep an eye out." The SOO retorted, peering into the darkness with a
steeled eye.

"We're heading for the security room still?"

"To get CCTV tapes, if any. Ready?"

With a scant nod, Daniel plunged through the darkened doorway and Kel
fel into step behind him.
