"The Accepted Protocal for Kink ( PART TWO) " ( Continued from my last post and Maxine's post ( Patriot ) ) ______________________________ Location: Starbase 1 Scene: Holosuite 7 Stardate: 2.70403.1747 ______________________________ Ben arrived first and started the program. It was a warm, tropical beach - the kind of place they'd always talking about going to vacation together. He also imagined, easily, she'd like it after all those weeks on an that arctic planet, ANDALUSIA. He sat on the beach after taking his shoes off and rolling up his pantlegs. The sand between his toes was warm. The arch appeared and opened when Daisy used the access code he'd given her. His eyes widened when he realized she hadn't bothered to take the time to change out of uniform. "Hi. You ok?" he smiled, almost awkwardly. "I thought we'd have more time." she admitted sadly. "But, we've had some security issues and some disciplinary problems with a couple of crewmembers...." she waved her hand and shook her head. "Just some things I can't really..." "No, I understand..." he admitted quickly, flashing her a warm, trusting smile. With a sigh, she lowered her eyes and took off her jacket. Then, she smiled at him. "You do, don't you?" He stepped closer, still smiling. "How long can you stay?" She touched her hand to his chest, then upward to his neck - feeling his familiar warmth. "I told Gavi and Erika I'd be back in time for dinner. Then, we're departing at 2200 hours..." The stood close to each other, foreheads touching. He put his hand on her shoulder and whispered, "Then, back in time for dinner you shall be...." She gave this little sigh as they kissed. A spectacular holosuite sunset bathed them in light and color as she began undoing the buttons of his shirt. He saw this sadness in her eyes and knew that she was going to miss this, being together, reconnecting like this. She swallowed hard, gulped really...as she traced her finger along the slope of his collarbone and over to his neck. "Ben....I...." He just smiled. "I'm going to miss you, too." She blushed and laughed. "I'm really glad I walked into that restaurant with Adm. Ranta the other day...but, ahem..." she stammered akwardly. He smiled again, that same warm, trusting smile. The lighting was romantic, the wind in his hair...the simple, uncomplicated beauty of his handsome features and the oddly liberating fact that it would probably be another two years or more before they saw each other again. She finally almost whined. "But, I hope you don't mind if I'd rather not talk anymore...I'll write you a letter soon..." He threw his head back and laughed, blushing deeply. "Just came here to have your way with me and go, huh?" Pulling her shirt over her head, she pushed him down on the sand and replied. "Something like that, yeah..." He laughed when she half-fell on top of him and undid her hair so it fell around her shoulders and asked teasingly. "And, what if I object?" She laughed softly. "Then, who are you and what have you done with Ben?" His eyes widened and he scoffed, laughing. "I'll have you know I go out of my way to be taken seriously as a buttoned-down professional and a bonafide Command officer." "Yes, you do...." she agreed, kissing his chest. "Almost tragically so...." He frowned as she loosened his belt and protested. "Tragically? I wouldn't say tragically. I'm not *THAT* bad...." He leaned up, actually somewhat annoyed and noticed the silhouette tattoo on her shoulder. "Oh, my god....is that Martin?" he burst out laughing. "What did you do?" She nodded. "Go ahead, laugh. I know you think it's silly. We agreed. We can't serve together and aren't changing our careers for each other. But, I wanted something about me to be different because I found you again...even if it's only for a little while." He cupped her face in his hands and kissed her forehead. Then, he sighed, smiling. "Well, I tell you what. Don't call me tragic and I won't call you silly." She frowned. "Oh, I'm sorry....shh...." she kissed him. "I'm sorry. It's just, how are you still single? I mean, you are so great! I mean, if we can't be together....I don't want you to be alone..." He laughed and put his hand over her mouth and gently chided her. "Let's go back to the whole concept of not talking anymore....I'm starting to think that could work for me..." Her eyes widened and she started to laugh until he silenced her with a kiss and they rolled together down the gentle slope of the beach, their remaining bits of clothing dropping into the warm sand.... _____________________________________________________ NRPG: Erik - I got lucky and PJ was willing to share the computer. I liked how this turned out so I thought I'd surprise you. TAG! :) PROPHECY crew - ATTENTION~! :) The PATRIOT folks want to start their next mission on MONDAY. So...we need to wrap up our R&R and be on our way in the "direction" of GATEWAY. I won't know if we're actually going TO Gateway until we hear from Joy and Jerome about what's going on with the GATE. Depending on them - we may just go right past GATE to our ship and go on with a mission of our own. We'll find out soon, I hope. So - Peter, Margie, Jamie, Phillip and Ran - TAG! Let's get going with our flashy exit and the tragic "ripping apart" of poor Daisy and Ben.
