"Removing the prisoners"

  Location: USS PATRIOT
  Scene: Hangar Bay 2

T'ial was unsatisfied with the recent turn of events. Her training was for Chief Science Officer and she had been acting as if she were head of the marines on the shuttle. Her brow was slightly furrowed, but she knew her duties and had every intent of following them.

"We are disembarking, yes?" T'ial turned to ask Tam.

"Yes, we need to allow the engineers to look over the Star Rider. They will want to assess the damage," Tam replied.

"Very well then." T'ial moved away from the sensors and looked back for Kel, who had already moved to the back of the shuttle. Without saying another word, T'ial waited for Tam Niala to lead the way.

"Lieutenant, Ensign, do either of you know when security will be arriving to take the prisoners?" Tam asked as she got ready to exit.

Kel's voice emerged from the back of the shuttle. "I haven't called them in, but I would assume they'd be on their way. Tam, T'ial, one of you, get on that." He sounded like he was too preoccupied trying to figure out who had dared to try and shoot his ship down, to actually make the call himself.

Tam tapped her commbadge. "Tam to security. Do you have the guards on their way?"

A voice returned with an answer [[The guards are on their way, stand by entrance.]]

T'ial walked over to the door of the craft and kept her finger next to the button.
  "We should leave now."
Her finger pressed the button, opening the door. Her eyes set sight on the four guards that were quickly making their into the craft.

Tam Niala stood aside so that the guards could easily walk over to the back of the Star Rider and assist Kel.

"That was efficient," T'ial commented as she exited the craft, without the slightest curiosity to see what the prisoners looked like.

"Quite," Tam replied as she followed after T'ial. "The engineers should be arriving any minute now to check on the shuttle."

"That is illogical." T'ial stopped in her steps. "The Star Rider is a small craft, there are already seven people in there. There is no room for the engineers. We must wait until the prisoners are taken away in order to allow the engineers their space."

Tam paused to think it over. "We should wait for the Lieutenant so we can report to the Captain." She supressed a smile. "The engineers will be presumably working from the outside in if there are too many people already in the shuttle. The prisoners will be gone in a moment anyway."

T'ial nodded in agreement with Tam. The pair began walking back towards the shuttle to wait for Kel, when suddenly, the sounds of phasers firing within the craft. T'ial's posture stiffened, as she once again reached to her side, only to find her weapon missing.
  "I am unarmed," she announced.

"I'm not." Tam pulled her phaser, just in case, as they waited for some one to come out of the shuttle.
