"Second time ." Con't fom Rahuls' last post Location: USS PATRIOT Stardate: 2424 [2.8] 2306.80224 Scene: Corridor Time: 0.00 The trio of ships dropped out of transwarp with a brilliant flash of blue energy. Tanith had expertly navigated the mouth of the conduit almost directly above the ground based facility. All three ships simultaneously unleashed their weapons onto the facility, while the Dominion ships guarding the planet scrambled to counter the intruders. Catherine silently walked onto the bridge and lingered against the back wall, observing the Bridge and the command officers working. "Comms, tell EON 2 to watch their left flank, the Jem'Hadar are moving in." Kenta ordered as the weapons officer and operations officer was reporting to him at the same time. He handled the tense situation with more ease then his youth should have allowed him to do. "Captain, shields down three percent in the initial barrage." Sterling hand her arms folded over, resting on the butt of the phaser rifle that was attached to her chest by a strap. She looked quite intimidating in full battle gear, and it wasn't long before her silent presence attracted attention. "Lieutenant, what are you doing up here?" Gorman asked as he strode his long legs towards her. "Keeping an eye on things, Commander." Her golden-grey eyes drunk in all of the visual information that perfuse the viewscreen. Ben called out to Operations as he stalked the bridge. "See if you can find a fuel or weapons depot, aim for it and hope you can set off secondary explosions." "Yes, sir." The aerial bombardment went on for a little longer, the facilities shields were weakening, but as a ground based installation they were always stronger. Even more so if the energy generation was tied into something like geothermal generators. "When are you going to make the decision to send the marines down?" Catherine asked, her hands flexing in her black gloves. "At the 1 minute mark, if the facility shield's are still less then 50% we'll activate the marines." The desk rocked under their feet as a torpedo blew past the Patriot. She continued to pound away, firing her phasers and torpedoes into the facility with reckless haste. "Lieutenant, you should leave." "Yes, sir." Catherine nodded, taking one last look at the scene and retreated. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ NRPG: Ah hell, it's short, but it's all I've got ATM From HyperNews_at_youth.net
